Chitrita owns and manages this website. Hence, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” always refer to Chitrita. Our registered office is located at Rajhat, Bandel, Hooghly, West Bengal, India. Most Chitrita sarees are handwoven by skilled artisans. Therefore, slight variations in weave, texture, or design may occur. However, these variations are not flaws. Instead, they highlight authentic handloom craftsmanship. As a result, every saree remains unique under these Chitrita Terms & Conditions.
We try to display accurate colors on our website. However, screen settings and lighting conditions may cause differences. Therefore, the actual product color may vary slightly. Consequently, such variation does not qualify as a defect under Chitrita Terms & Conditions.
All measurements remain approximate. Generally, sarees measure around 5.5 meters in length. Additionally, blouse pieces usually measure between 80 cm and 1 meter, if included. Thus, minor size differences may exist.
After placing an order, you receive a confirmation email. However, this email does not confirm acceptance. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders. This may happen due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or payment issues.
All prices appear in Indian Rupees (INR). Moreover, prices include GST unless stated otherwise. However, we reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
Sometimes items sell out after an order is placed. In such cases, we contact you promptly. Then, we offer either a full refund or a replacement of equal value. Hence, transparency remains important under Chitrita Terms & Conditions.
We accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, and Cash on Delivery. Therefore, you must provide complete and accurate payment details. Otherwise, order processing may fail or get delayed.
We aim to dispatch orders within 2–3 business days. However, processing times may increase during peak periods.
Standard delivery usually takes 5–7 business days. Nevertheless, delivery times depend on location and the courier service.
We rely on third-party courier partners. Therefore, Chitrita is not responsible for delays caused by logistics issues, weather conditions, or natural events.
We accept returns only for manufacturing defects or incorrect shipments. Therefore, you must inform us within 48 hours of delivery. Otherwise, we may reject the request.
Returned sarees must remain unused and unwashed. Additionally, original tags and folds must stay intact. Hence, returns that fail these checks will not qualify.
